Magic Doors.

Yo, I love Portishead (get familiar), and have been a fan for some time now.  At one one point I noticed my self sampling (I produce by the way) nothing but Portishead song's.  I love the darkness of the their music.  I seem to like dark more than happy tunes anyway (RZA is my number 1 favorite producer, if that explains anything - and he has sampled Portishead as well). Now that I think about it I may do a Portishead inspired mixtape of some type.  

Anyways, Portishead's first 2 albums, Dummy and Portishead, are stellar in my opinion, but their latest album, Third, is kinda lackluster.  For starters they made fans wait over 10 years for this new joint - so they may be a tad rusty.  There are a few gems on the album, and Magic Doors is one of them.

I'm sure at some point my love for Portishead will prompt a full Portishead post... perhaps.
