Leeky Sighting.
Que B.I.L.L.A.H. rocked the Unity tee in black to Vic Lloyd's (Leaders 1354) birthday party a couple weeks ago. Thanks for the love! We're waiting for that Colors music video. Swiped this pic from Tonedocisafreak.com.

Brooklyn Girls.
This is only the second song I've heard from Mr. Charles Hamilton, but I think I'm becoming a fan. And the direction of the video isn't bad either.

Safeguarding Integrity.
The homies over at Ends/Wealth just did an interview with Ruby Hornet. Very nice read. "We want this company to grow into a successful firm of talented creatives and strategists who preserve the integrity of our cultures." Word. Keep an eye out for the new line. Yo Brandon, I need a few of these!

Entreprenuer.
I feels this joint. Prophetic hails from Milwaukee. J. Peezy sent this to me the other day. As J. put it, this is "a promising track all the way around". I would agree: dope lyrics, dope production, and the direction of the video isn't bad either. To Prophetic - if you happen to see this blog, get at me. We should collaborate on some things...

Magic Doors.
Yo, I love Portishead (get familiar), and have been a fan for some time now. At one one point I noticed my self sampling (I produce by the way) nothing but Portishead song's. I love the darkness of the their music. I seem to like dark more than happy tunes anyway (RZA is my number 1 favorite producer, if that explains anything - and he has sampled Portishead as well). Now that I think about it I may do a Portishead inspired mixtape of some type.
Anyways, Portishead's first 2 albums, Dummy and Portishead, are stellar in my opinion, but their latest album, Third, is kinda lackluster. For starters they made fans wait over 10 years for this new joint - so they may be a tad rusty. There are a few gems on the album, and Magic Doors is one of them.
I'm sure at some point my love for Portishead will prompt a full Portishead post... perhaps.
