One of the main reasons people follow a particular artist's work is because of the connection one feels towards that artist. The very first, and best way artists get connected with their listeners is through their music. The second would be interviews/documentaries in my opinion. You get a look into that artists lifestyle, what they're like behind close doors, what they believe in, and here in Mr. Chrystopher's case understand the reasoning behind certain songs.

I hate the term real talk, but this is literally "real talk".

"Ain't A Thang Changed" directed by me. I shot this on Super 8mm about a week before graduating from SIUC in 2005. Posting just because... And check the vintage Katalyst polo I'm wearing. Katalyst became W!LD LEEK for those interested. Perhaps I'll get a chance to tell that story one day.


I just saw a full version of Oscar-award-winning animated short Logorama, but about 2 minutes after I saw it on Vimeo they took it down. I thought it was so good, so creative, I decided to post the YouTube/2 part version. Check it:

Say what you will about Gucci Mane, but he's a pretty down to earth, positive-spirited dude. This interview was done sometime in November of 2009 before The State VS Radric Davis dropped... which, by the way, is a pretty darn good album in my opinion.
