Coming 2009.

The W!LD LEEK team took a trip to Milwaukee this pass Friday to visit the design team, and work on our Spring/Summer line.  Haven't been down in Miltown since we first met with the design team in April.
Scout & Jeremy (DesignScout).

While in Milwaukee we visited Hot Pop and Moda3.  I'm a loser 'cause I forgot the camera in the car for both stores.  While in Moda 3 I did get a chance to grab some of that Jason Markk shoe cleaner, finally...

...and some dunnies, of course.  Danielle, get on my level!

Just posted his video last week, so when I saw this in Moda 3 I had to support.
2009, here we come.

Entreprenuer.

I feels this joint. Prophetic hails from Milwaukee.  J. Peezy sent this to me the other day.  As J. put it, this is "a promising track all the way around".  I would agree: dope lyrics, dope production, and the direction of the video isn't bad either.  To Prophetic - if you happen to see this blog, get at me.  We should collaborate on some things...

Milwaukee Magic.

Back in October of 2007 is the first time I contacted Scout of DesignScout to discuss helping me bring this clothing brand idea to life. Scout gave us Jeremy as our designer (J. Peezy, what up!?). Since then I have referred to the DesignScout collective as our design team.

This past April the W!ld Leek team took a trip to Milwaukee to meet the design team in person for the first time. We've been making magic ever since!

It appears Matt likes taking shoe shots. Check his old school Pumps.
...Nana's limited Court Forces. I don't really check for Court Forces, don't really like the construction, but these are an exception. The purple/pink colors pop, and parts of the shoe are denim. I'm hating a tad bit.
Early renditions of our character(s), "The Pointz". You'll be seeing more of those guys later.
After meeting, working, and eating, Scout and Jeremy took us over to Moda 3, a boutique in Milwaukee's historic third ward.
I think we may have all left with a purchase.

Nana bought a box of the Jason Markk shoe cleaner. I need some of that.

I'll take more pix next time we visit the design team. I know, I know, I gotta get my picture taking game up. Take it easy on me, I'm learning as we go - sheesh!
